Week 14 - April 25 - 29

This week had been very busy Kuul Play had been selected as a National Project Play Champion for 2022-2023, which meant that we had to work on alot of marketing type of graphics and we had to work on graphics for the website. 

I was in charge of creating the marketing graphics, I created many different variations and after alot of feedback I had to create completely new versions as my first ideas were too busy and cluttered. In the end we went with very simplistic graphics which mainly just consisted of two logos; the project play champions logo and the kuul play logo on a simple blue background.

Here are the first draft graphics which i agree had to much going on, these first graphics I didn't get too much direction for so I ended up creating them based on adds for different sport related apps which I liked. I created the graphics in a couple different shapes so that the images could fit on various different social medias.

Week 13 - April 18 - 22

This week I had to once again pause working on the animation as we had to focus more on character designs and redesigns, we are currently trying to figure out how to make more edgy and relatable character designs for an American audience as the designs we currently have are more suited to an Irish audience due to the fact that the characters are wearing clothing which is styled more after Irish fashion trends etc. We are also trying to come up with "villain" designs, one of the villains we're focusing on at the moment is a pirate character, I made some sketches of possible design elements we could make use of. Week 11 - April 4 - 8

 I had to pause working on the animation for a bit this week and instead create another set of badges for the map as we have added a sixth island with a different colourscheme.  Here is the new set of badges:

Week 12 - April 11 - 15

 I'm still working on the animation, I am currently waiting to get the audio that I need in order to get started on the lip-synching portion of the animation completed. For now other than giving feedback on other team members character designs I haven't been doing anything other than working on the animation.
